These are the "core" supplements that I use consistently on a daily basis:

Vitamins/Minerals:     Always start with a very good vitamin!
Beverly Ultra 4   Generous levels of all the vitamins and mineral, particularly the "B" vitamins, are essential for the smooth and efficient operation of all your body's functions. They keep you "tuned-up".

Supplements:
Beverly Ultra 40  is the highest grade AAA purified Argentinean liver concentrate. It has 45 times the nutritional value of whole beef liver, and it has naturally occurring protein, creatine, "B" vitamins  and nucleic acids (RNA & DNA).
I take about 12 to 16 tablets a day to increase strength, size and endurance. Liver tablets were the main supplement for bodybuilders in the sixties

Beverly Mass Aminos are pre-digested with pancreatic enzyme resulting in peptide-bonded amino acids, readily available for your body to use. The enzyme breakdown of the amino acids does not degrade the aminos like the typical "acid bath" breakdown used by other supplement manufacturers.
Beverly MASS has the highest nitrogen rating of any amino acid supplement. I take about 12 to 16 tablets a day with the Ultra 40 liver tablets for a faster and better muscle recovery after hard workouts.

If I could only take 3 supplements per day they would be Ultra 4 vitamins, Ultra 40 Liver, and Mass Aminos. These are my "core" muscle building supplements.

Fat Burners:
Beverly Lean Out   with 50 mcg chromium, 150 mg L-Carnitine, 2 mg CoQ-10,  methionine, choline, inositol, betaine. These are all recommended by Dr. Atkins for fat loss. This increases the utilization of stored fats for energy, leaving the amino acids and glycogen free to build muscle.  [take one 30 minutes before exercise or with each meal]
Dr. Atkins states that chromium deserves the most attention and suggests up to 1,000 mcg per day [p.307]

My 4th daily supplement is Lean Out to limit body fat.

======================================

These are the supplements that I use occasionally :

Beverly EFA Gold I eat plenty of nuts, olives and other good fats to provide my daily Essential Fatty Acids. These EFA's heal, carry vitamins, enhance metabolism, and bring oxygen to the tissues. They act as "solvents" to remove hardened body fat, to support muscle growth & fat metabolism, and to support fat burning, matabolic rate & energy levels.  If I begin to miss these in my diet, I will take Beverly EFA Gold.

Beverly Creatine Select   Creatine is an amino acid that rebuilds and restores your muscles' energy source, ATP - Adenosine Triphospate This is quickly depleted during intense training, converting to ADP. Creatine combines with ADP to convert it back to ATP to again fuel the muscle. Creatine increases strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity.   Overview: A T P and  Muscle Energy
Creatine must combine with phosphate to be effective in the muscle cell. Beverly Creatine Select has phsophates in it. [1 scoop 5 x's a day for 5 days - then 1-2 scoops daily]
Although creatine is part of most dietary and supplemental protein [and the Ultra 40 liver] I'll start loading extra Creatine before a strongman competition to help me get through a long day of heavy lifting.

Beverly Glutamine Select  with BCCA's  Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the muscle. Taken after exercise it helps restore glycogen which is the glucose stored in the liver and muscle for quick release as needed. It also supports protein synthesis, immune function, growth hormone production, and positive nitrogen balance. With Branch Chain Amino Acids - leucine, isoleucine, & valine.
Like creatine, glutamine is also part of most dietary and supplemental protein. I will still add more glutamine after a hard workout because it speeds up muscle recovery and helps to reduce muscle soreness.

Detox:
Barlean's Greens    as a daily detoxifyer, it contains barley and wheat, chlorella and spirunila, and chlorophyll. I try to take a few of these every day with breakfast.

N.S. Ultimate Cleanse   every 3-4 months to detxoify the bowel, kidneys, lungs, skin, and lymphatic system by drawing out and eliminating the toxins that accumulate daily from food & environment. This also breaks down the accumulated layers of putrid mucus build-up on the inside of thr intestines, so that healthy food can be absorbed and used.
You may find this "cleanse" to be a good way to start a diet since it leaves you "empty", eliminates bloating, and leaves you a few pounds lighter. It is a good transition from a "bad" diet to the healthy food that you will start eating.

Jarro-Dophilis EPS with live cultures of the good gut bacteria that have been compromised in most people who have taken antibiotics. The good bacteria competes with bad bacteria and yeast. When it is lacking, the yeast takes over and casues poor digesetion, bloating, and intestinal problems. Raw, unprocessed, unflavored yogurt can also provide some live strains of good gut bacteria.
