Fast food is about the most fattening food you can eat. It is constantly available to you all day - every day. And, it is served in huge portions of junk carbs wrapped around saturated fat - the perfect storm of body fat.
To reverse this fat frenzy,  get yourself under 100 grams of carbs per day total  spread out in 5 meals throughout your day. This is not as effective as the 20 gram daily max recommended by Dr Atkins, but it is a good start. You cannot get there eating this kind of junk.  The McDonald's hot cakes, Chillie's "guiltless" pasta, and Burger King's syrup shake each have 100 grams of junk carbs - and that is just one item in one meal!
Add to this the other daily "junk" meals, "junk" snacks, sodas, etc and you can easily get in the range of 800 - 1,000 grams a day of fattening junk carbs. It is impossible to lose body fat when your body is working overtime to produce and store fat. There is not an exercise you can do or a supplement you can buy that can counter the effects of a daily high-junk diet. It is like rowing upstream in a flood. Despite your best efforts, you will likely drown.
You will not make any fat-loss progress until you stop the daily flood of junk carbs.  Then you can look at your proteins & fats, supplements and workouts.        Just stay out of these places !
