I had the will power to get back to where I was before the transplant and I had a lot of people praying for me every day.

I think that my clean high-protein diet and regular workouts at the gym are the reason that I do so well on dialysis - 14 years so far.

I contact the units myself and if they have an opening, I ask them to call my home unit for the paperwork.
As with everything else in dialysis, it is always best to take charge of your situation yourself. Nobody will look out for you as well as you will. Don't ever let dialysis limit your travel.
